[SOLVED]Mac OS X, Logic 8, Virus TI Desktop - OS 3 Firmware Mismatch??
 

Howdy.

Went to update my Virus TI Desktop to the new OS (OS 3). Everything goes smoothly till I open up Virus Control (in Logic 8, Mac OS X 10.5.3, Intel Core 2 Duo btw). And then.....


TIOS Firmware version mismatch.

This version of the plugin does not match the required firmware version of the Virus that is connected to your computer.


Sigh?

Did a quick search of the forums but didn't see this problem coming up. Any thoughts, comments, suggestions. They are all welcome.

Added information: Opening up Virus Control Center.

Virus Ti Desktop: Status: Needs Update

OS. 2.7.0.48

Pressing OK results in a forced quit of the application.

Solution!!!

I guess I tried to update out of order.

I installed version 2.7.5 right over the previous install of 3.0.

Reinstalled 3.0 = perfection.

DONT UPDATE OUT OF ORDER.

I guess its a newbie mistake.
