Yet another latency question

Ok..this is could be really simple but i cant seem to figure out what needs to be tweaked (buffer settings in DAW etc...).

The issue is, when i play the keys on my Virus TI keyboard there is a latency.

I am using Mac OS 10.5.6 with Logic Pro 8. Motu 828 MKII, TI OS 3.0

There is no latency when I load Logic's own virtual instruments using TI keyboard. Ideally, TI suppose to be lightening fast without any latency when compared to other instruments (virtual).

I also had same problem with previous versions of TI OS (2.xx.xx)

Any thought or suggestions on this?

Thanks.

SH.

when you are playing the keyboard on the Virus you need to do 2 things to minimise latency. Firstly change the output in Virus Control to Output 1/2 instead of USB out 1/2, this makes the Virus sound directly out it analogue outs (and I guess you will need to run the analogue outs from the Virus into your mixer. Secondly, activate the "Live" button on the front of the Virus Control screen.

Once you have recorded your MIDI part you need to reverse the above for playback from your DAW.
