Using Live's Effects on Virus Control Channels
 

I have Live setup as per the Tutorial song provided by Access. All works well, however I am trying to work out a way to somehow route the audio from individual VC channels (of which there are 16) through Live's effects in real time. I seem to be able to run the Master output of VC through the effects but want to run the individual channels through them.

I know I could render the audio from a VC channel to audio and then apply effects to the new audio track, but I really want to apply effects whilst VC is being triggered by MIDI in real time.

it would be great if someone could shed some light here ....

Errr, I don't think it's possible. I've checked almost every routing possibility on Live 7 for this. The rest of the tracks only transmit MIDI. And Live doesn't allow you to drop effects unless you have an instrument on the track. :rolleyes:

I don't know about how to do it in live... but you can pull a maximum of 3 distinct stereo outputs via USB.
