OS 3.01 and Snow
 

OS 3.01 with Snow not working - same bug like OS 3.0

- when experiencing with Snow hardware working OK
- with Control pannel working only 50% function (distorion, arpegiator, matrix, lfo ....) same like 3.0 OS
- good news is 3.01 not freeze and not produce glitches

i'm not sure if i understand what you mean? what is not working and in which way?

50 % button and knob in controll panel not working - moving and not diference in sound (sam like OS 3.0)

not working:

- osc3 complete
- vel and vel pan
- filter velocity
- all function on lfo
- arpegiator
- distortion rolet menu - any distortion type not produce diference on sound
- complete matrix not working
- and more

When not connecting Snow to PC = Working all function Great

My PC running on WinXP Pro SP2 and AMD platform (all function on controll panel working in OS 2.75)

seemed to run very smooth until i got stuck notes on different presets agai

I mean this problem not controll panel but on drivers

This procedure working

1. Snow must be off
2. Start vst host aplication
3. insert vst controll panel
4. Start Snow
5. Working all knob and function on control pannel

When start Snow before this procedure Controll panel working bad - bug is in usb midi driver communication (not audio - I use other Asio hardware and virus only like vst plugins - when use Snow Asio same problem)

i think the bug is in your installation, not in the software provided.

My problem is that I can't install the firmware. It stops during firmware update. Somewhere around 70% I think. I will try and test some more.

I hope this update makes the VC load fast as before. And not use all my resources when it loads. I could make a cup of te waiting for the VC loading in Cubase SX 3.

I run Windows XP SP2. I use the Access Virus TI keyboard. Just for the information.

Anyway.. If someone got the same problem, and find a solution. I would be happy to know. I would also be happy to know the solution. :-P

Virus Snow Running OS3.0.1 on Mac OSX 10.5.5 Perfectly!

Used it for 3 hours straight last night, I haven't noticed any bugs yet. Knobs (LFO's etc) are all working fine.

Any issues, must be due to improper installation.

Got my snow to crash. Hooked up to a macbook using vc. worked well for about 30 minutes.

It crashed when I was going through arp patterns and switched to user pattern. The notes just got stuck, couldn't do anything about it. Lame it was.

i did send this text for the support.

i installed the latest version and give it a try.it looks better and i even could do better sounds with it imo but after a few minutes(1or 2) this happens:
1: when i change a preset under the playing after a minute or two the sound goes on and on i doesn't stop...it goes still if i reload the plug in flstudio..the panic button thing does not help either,i restart flstudio again and add this plug ...still the same
2. When i shut off the virus (Pressing Edit/shit and Part button at the same time) my laptop (fast blue screen)restart...i've to release the usb cable of the virus and restart my laptop manually so it restarts like it should....otherwise it tries to restart but it takes time
3: there is some pitch issue also..when i change the transpose and go to for example to easy mode or to another screen on the vst plug...the transpose goes to maximum tone (+63).
i thought the usb midikeyboard was the reason to this failure so i did unplug this..but it was not that, because it worked with the 2.75 version which i used earlier...the stable version compared to this.
