Virus A problem upgrading to os 2.8: "-E: No bankNo!" (SOLVED)
 

SOLVED: thanks to Achim at german sinths "hospital", he made my day.
The problem, even a weird startup problems were due to bad/cold solders on the Dsp chip (Motorola). I re-soldered (ALL, and the Dsp double checked), as new, and voilÃ, all's going fine now.
If you have these synthoms (bad startup, long routines check, -E Nobank No! upgrading) the problem is related to the Dsp.

Hi, my Virus A outs doesn't sound at all. Nothing, at all from outputs. So I decided to re-upgrade the Os to the latest 2.8. But when thee os (first) mid file ends its job here is a weird alert on the lcd screen, right on the second row below the "Do not touch me" thang: -E: No bankNo ! and it freezes.
Any clues?
