Is it possible to record audio with USB?
I have a virus TI Polar 2 and Cubase essentials. I am using the virus as a soundcard, can I lay down a midi sequence and then with the usb record the audio to cubase?
Thanks in advance |
absolutely. you can do both midi and audio via the usb connection.

I pick up no audio signal in Cubase when trying to record audio via USB, can you give me any trouble shooting pointers to try and sort this?

not sure if this link will take you directly to it, but here is Access' tutorial on using the virus ti with cubase
http://www.access-music.de/downloads...idesktop#cat19 |
the way Access' site is coded, it makes it difficult to directly link to specific pages on their site. Go to www.access-music.de - select support - download area and scroll down until you see the tutorial for cubase.

Is the TI2 polar fairly light they said it was lighter than the mk1 as I found the mk1 supprisingly heavy?Great frontpanel desighn.

Still feels pretty heavy.
I still can not record via USB. It can not be that hard, I have gone through the tutorial and no luck. I can see volume on the master channel. I am using the Virus as a souncard does this stop me from recording audio? Any help appreciated. |

I'd like to know as well, how to record it. Only way so far was using Silverspike Tapeit, but that's just a workaround, which isn't what I want. |
Please any help really appreciated!
