'do not show again' doesnt work

Each time i click 'do not show this message again' when VC loads, when it's telling us about all the great new stuff. but this message never goes away. I've tried various driver versions, but it seems to keep saying it with the new betas aswell. Im using vista 32bit and cubase 5.

Did you have any problems (error messages, hunged computer etc) while Cubase is exiting?

Do you have any additional patches stored in default location?
(default path for virus ti patches is Access-Music\Virus TI\Patches in “My Documents” folder)
If you do, you need to remove all said patches.

ah. could be it! i have installed vista from fresh, but i copied my old 'my patches' file over from xp. ill try that. By the way, what is this 'my patches' file for anyway?

EDIT: nope, still does it.

Hm... Try to make this step by step:
1. Run Cubase
2. Load virus control plugin in VST Rack of Cubase or route instrument channel to VC
3. Unload plugin (NOT automatically with closing Cubase)
4. Exit Cobase.

nope.. still not

But now I got another bug, it's the same as your one.
