Ableton + Logic Collaboration

I was hoping to get some thoughts. I have a friend that has a Virus TI that uses Logic. I use a Virus TI in Ableton.

Does anyone have idea on how to best collaborate with each other? Can we export and exchange TI tracks via midi with patches?

Thanks!

You can save and export your midi tracks and patches or record to audio and send back n forth the wave files.

You can bounce back the midis with the patches, although its quite cumbersome if you are going to be exchanging things back an forth a lot.
Once you start evolving, doing automations and edits and the lot, it can get quite sticky and difficult to keep track when you change applications,
and do things all the way through midi and patching up on his TI.

Exporting as audio waves is a more solid way in the long run as you can go
more into the arrangement and know your mate is gonna get exactly what
you sent him, with any processing and mixing youve done on your part!
