Virus Centre MIDI dump
 

Gonna throw this one out there.
Let's see how it goes.

I have a Yamaha CS1X synth. I dumped all 128 patches to MIDI and saved. Then went to the Virus Centre and tried to Burn To Flash on (just say) "W". I copied the file into the patches directory, and when I tried to load it? Errrr, nup.
The question is, can you throw anything at the TI?

I wanted to see if I could use my CS1x's patches in the TI and be able to manipulate these tones in a way the CS1x can't.
Throw FM on them and all sorts of stuff.

the midi file contains only the parameters and those only make sense when used by the sound engine which created the sound. every sound engine is different. you cannot simply loads sounds from one synthesizer into another. would be great but nobody has done that so far.

if you want to process the sound of a certain synth with e.g. the filters or FX of the virus you need to use the inputs and feed audio through the virus.
