Finally a decent inexpensive vocoder I can use with the Virus and its easy to set up.Anyone else try yet ?

Check out Collision. It is awesome! I can't wait for Max4Live!!

I have just become an Ableton convert, but haven't had the chance to try 8 yet (using a machine and 6 at the moment). I have a heap of vocodas on other gear, so the Ableton one doesn't worry me so much. It's really the APC controller that has made me sit up and take notice of Live finally.

Yeah I preordered in Febuary and every week since then 3 days before its supposed to comeout they push it back another month.

IMO the Ableton one still isn't good for Electro Bass style Robot talk. The TAL is dope and the Akai DC Vocoder is super easy, super cheep, and surprisingly great sounding for such applications. Check out that TAl though can't believe its freeware!!
