Noob VTI Question
 

Hi all

So I am running cubase 5, a emu 12 12m soundcard. Now at the moment I have the speakers hooked up to the Virus so all the sound comes out through the virus (using as a sound card) When I tryed with the speakers in the sound card out no sounds came out, cubase showed me there was input from the TI, also what is the best way to set cubase 5 up to get the best from the TI.

What is best USB or MIDi ?
Do I need a mixer to hook the virus into and then the P.C soundcard.

Im new to hardware so please go easy :)

when using Virus Control, you actually don't need to connect anything else but USB. the audio travels to the computer and out of the plugin.

in case you are using normal MIDI (or MIDI via USB) you need to connect the outputs of the virus to the inputs of your soundcard OR your soundcard and the virus to a mixer.
