Introducing myself . . .
 

Hi all,

My name is Daniel and I live in Israel. I've just bought a second hand Virus Rack; not the most advanced Virus obviously but still a tremendously powerful synth that I am absolutely thrilled with.

I have been playing synths for nearly 30 years as a hobby, but in recent years I have gone over to softsynths almost exclusively. I do have some other hardware though - a Roland JV-1080, a Yamaha DX-21 that I bought new in 1986, and an FB-01, also bought new.

I fought against the Virus gearlust for as long as I could before I finally succumbed to it - I just had to have a Virus, and no amount of telling myself that Sylenth1 was just the same would cure me of it!

Succumbing to gearlust can also be reframed more positively as conquest, resolution, etc
