Stupid Q? Does TI have a patch randomiser?

Im a massive fan of Section Lock in VC but didn't think there was a randomiser function... but a few guys mention it in the Sound Design forum. Am I really that stupid as to miss this??

Cheers,

andy

if you press RANDOM on the front panel (the button is left to the display) you might get what you're looking for :)

I didn't know this either so thanks!

BTW, is it possible to perhaps add an icon in VC to do this from within the software so we don't have to go to the hardware unit itself to do this? I figure we can lock the parts we don't want to change from a certain page, go to another page and click on a randomize button in that page to have it do its things while locking the other page(s)?

Even possible? Would be a cool addition if so.

Thanks Marc. I echo Cantankerous' suggestion! It would be great to have this in VC, seeing as (IIRC) VC has a few functions the front panel doesnt. It could be a button next to the Section Lock icon at the bottom right corner, or something.

Oh well, another day on Infekted, another request for more features... :-)

Cheers

Andy
