Cubase 5 users please help!
I am about to rip my face off.
I'm just going to walk you through my frustration: I turn on my computer (specs below), open up cubase 5. Load desired project. No sound from Virus TI. Open VST Instruments panel... says "Audio Driver Failed". I close cubase and open the Virus Control Center, run a scan for the virus. Finds the Virus TI with no problem. I open cubase. Load project. Sound works. No Virus TI Synth driver (cant play TI keyboard). I shut down my PC. Shut off the virus and do a factory reset (hold arp edit key while powering on). Turn pc on. Load cubase. Load project. Got the Virus TI synth midi driver and can see the virus TI keyboard is triggering in cubase. No audio. Vst Connections "Audio Driver Failed". Repeat vicious cycle. Things I've tried: Reinstalling Virus TI Drivers Reinstalling Cubase 5 5.0.1 update Has anybody had this problem? Know what to do? 2.5 GHz AMD Phenom 4GB corsair dominator ram Presonus Firestudio Tube Cubase 5 (latest update) Virus TI (latest update) |
Try a new USB cable.

When I bought a dedicated usb card for the virus, the first one was faulty. Every time I started windows it reinstalled itself. The second one worked fine. So maybe it's the usb card?

I'll try a new USB cable.
I've tried using different motherboard usb ports and a PCI card USB port. My virus works, I just cant play the keyboard. |
