Is the A/B worth it?
 

hey all, i waz on ebay, and i discovered that the Virus A and B where usualy on there for pretty cheap, and i was wondering if there really worth the money...My choice is split between either some studio gear or the virus, and i rather get the virus.

If you can go for a Virus B, but the fist Virus A is hot, too.

And if it's cheap you can't do anything wrong.

Definately. The Virus B already has a large slice of the Virus sound, no matter which version you compare it with.

I recently bought a Virus Rack that was quite cheap.

The Rack is a slightly cut-down B in its specification, and is less knobby than a B.

It is still an amazing synth with the genuine Virus sound, and I am very happy with it. I mostly use Sound Diver to program it, which is almost like programming a VSTi in your DAW when used with a multi-device Midi driver.
