Ableton Macros

I'm using Ableton8 with VirustTI+NI Maschine. I have the 8 Maschine groups routed back into 8 seperate audio tracks into Ableton and use the usb audio ports of the virus with Ableton's external instruments.
Note: I have loaded the vst and the 2 ext. instr. into the instrument rack to create macros.

Now i am wondering if it is possible to set macros on the 2 external instrument tracks that are routed into the virus?:confused:

It maybe sounds like abracadabra, so i hoop you guys understand what i'm trying to do...

I want to control the virus 1+2+3 with an APC40... (or maybe all 16):cool:
