can the virus get a virus ?
i mean from the internet...can the virus get a virus on it??
i think i just got a virus on my computer with a file i downloaded....:( worried about my new Access virus.... i turned it off....but maybe i'm just being paranoid.... can the hardware virus get a virus ?? thanks |
Yes, if it starts coughing, spluttering and foaming at the MIDI outs, it may need surgery.
Funniest thread ever. Your Access Virus is completely safe. Microsoft Windows viruses and Access Viruses are completely incompatible. ;P BTW, use Avast for your Windows PeeCee - It's free and very reputable. |
sometimes the older os's seemd like a virus ;0
Since using automation lanes instead of midi cc it got MUCH better. Or was it the new cubase? |
lol...
no symptoms so far...pulse seems normal...120 bpm... no sneezing either..... :D all under control (virus control) thanks..i will try Avast.... |
Not unless there's one specifically designed for it. Wouldn't that be a bitch?
|
hell ya...that would be terrible...since there would be no way to get it off...like an anti virus.......unless access makes an "anti Virus"...hahahha that would be funny.....

Agreed - daftest thread I read in a while...but never the less a possibility!
I foget yes I believe 3.3.4.0 is a virus ;) Cough! |
To my knowledge, the Access Virus is programmed in assembly language.
Plus the operating system of the Virus is read-only until you put it into "update mode", and even then I believe there's a buffer which checks the data in memory to make sure it's legit before finally flashing the ROM with the new OS. Avast is superb for your Windows PC. I've used it for the past 7 years or so and it's saved my ass a number of times, every time. Whereas others (such as AVG) haven't. |
take 2 aspirins and go back to bed.....
