New TI2 Polar owner - problems but hopeful

Hi all.

I have just taken delivery of a new Virus TI2 Polar.

First thing I thought was why isn't the surround of my display flashing like all the YouTube videos I've seen then I saw the BPM LED has been moved away from the screen.

Next thing I tried was to recreate some of the sounds I've heard but all the documentation refers to the TI1 patches.

Then I carried the TI2 downstairs and could hear a screw or washer rattling inside (replacement ordered).

Not a good start but I'm sure I will love it once I've worked out how to use.

You should have a copy of all the Ti1 patches in the VC, and the Ti1 owners have all the Ti2 & snow patches. I think most of them are the same just in a different order. Hope you get everything straitened out. There may be a peramiter for bpm brightness in the config menu but Im not infront of my TI right now.

Thanks. Have found the various patches but the documentation is out of date. I have managed to adjust the brightness but the LED has been moved so the surround of the display doesn't flash.

It's OK in the control centre because you can search patch names. The Acrobat files are all wrong.
