Virus C + Cubase sx 3
Hi guys!
I have some problems with the connection of my virus c and cubase sx 3... The virus is my first piece of hardware, so i'm a total noob in midi connections and stuff. I hope someone can help me, it really sucks right now. So, I tried to connect the virus like this: The midi out on my soundcard (edirol fa-66) to the midi in on the virus, the midi out on the virus tot the midi in on my soundcard & the out 1 L-R on the virus to the input L-R on my soundcard. This connection is ok, right? Now, in cubase i open a midi channel, with 'in' - all midi inputs and 'out' edirol fa66 midi out... What am i doing wrong? Again, i'm a total noob in these things. What did work was when i connected my midi controller and the virus. I could play the virus with midi controller and record this on a audio channel in cubase, but that's not what i want... (sorry for my bad english) Grtz & Thx Fusikt |
You have to set the input in Cubase. You want to create an audio track where the Virus is recorded, not just a MIDI one.
