ACCESS VIRUS C concerns....
 

I bought a used Virus C desktop recently. The A and B banks are empty. Is this normal? Should I do a factory reset? Also, he said that there is all of the "Vengeance sound sets" loaded into it. When I power it up it says OS 6.5. Also, how do I do a factory reset on this thing? Would that wipe out all of the Vengeance sound sets that he said were loaded? I'd like to get it back to factory standards if possible. Also, what is the difference between a "soft" reset and a full factory reset? Any help would be great, thanks :confused:

the vengeance sound set might be burnt into ROM, this would explain why both your RAM A & B are empty;
you should also check if RAM A and B are actually saving patches upon power-on.
this might also be a drained out internal battery, which is very easy to replace by yourself.
