Knob Quantize syncs any changes to clock interval for step-sequence sounds
 

In the original advert for the Virus Ti under specifications is the following:

"Knob Quantize syncs any changes to clock interval for step-sequence sounds."

I've been through the manuals though and could not find any reference to this?

Does anyone understand what this mean's and is able to explain to me in lay man's terms.
