At Cakewalk.com they are selling Z3TA+ for $20. I paid ten times that a few years ago for it.

I don't use it a lot, mostly because programming it feels bizarre to me, but man it can sound great.

I've never really cared for the GUI, and I don't think they've updated it. I don't know why they went with sliders instead of knobs. When it comes to synth user interfaces, it is very foolish to get creative and try to do something unique. It's better to give the user something they can relate to immediately.

But, jeez, in terms of sound? Was always one of the better sounding plugins, I don't know if it's because the filters or what. There are only a few plugins that standout in my mind as providing a sound that competes with the Virus, and this is one of them. However, the other 2 or 3 that come to mind are still ten times this price!

Bargain for the money and a nice compliment to a decent setup...£15.00 cant go wrong and x64bit version installed ;•)
