Blank Screen, No Sound, No MIDI indication [unsolved]
 

Hello,

It's been a while since I last used my TI Desktop. Last night I updated from v3 to the latest.

What I have now is a blank screen, no sound, and no indication that MIDI is received through USB. The control panel connects to the unit and shows that I have the latest update. Adjustments that I make in the control panel appear on the unit (LEDs turn on and off). Pressing the two DEMO mode buttons produces no sound nor does it change the front panel.

I tried numerous times to reset the factory settings by pressing ARP EDIT but the Virus Control Center always indicates that I have the latest version. I tried to reinstall the PC software several times. I'm out of things to try next.

I don't know if the TI died because of the update, or sometime during its long hibernation, but I remember at least seeing text on the LCD screen.

When I unplug the power from the TI, I hear a brief noise.

Any advice is appreciated.
