NAMM 2011 -whats it gonna be?
I didn't want to clutter the news forum with a speculation thread. Obviously if anyone knew the answer to this, I would have heard it elsewhere.
Does anyone know if there's new hardware coming from Access? Is it just me or is it about time? |
Or is there a new update for the virus ti?
|
Unfortunately I'm rubbish at predicting Access' future releases. :)
However, it's been five months since the last full/stable release. Most of the main bugs have been ironed out, which is great. As such there have been no beta releases in the last five months either. They have a nice clear run until NAMM in three months time. Of course they must still be working on something. I'd say either a new OS to bolt onto the TI, or there's a possibility of an entirely new TI|3 (given that the TI|2 was a refresh of the TI|1 and that there are no outstanding bugs for the current mature TI OS). Perhaps the Snow may even see a new version. But my guess is as good as yours, and my second guessing has always been poor in the past. We'll just have to see. |
Available editing of the arp presets would be nice.... :)
oh and a magic 'give me talent' waveform :) |
Ohh! give me talent button. yes
just owning a virus does that, it sounds amazing jst pressing a key. |
how about a 'create masterpiece' button...and also an 'earn $ 100000' button...
|
If I had my way, there would be an announcement about a Snow-like module with 3x the processing power and 2x the USB outs but same price point and full USB 2.0 or Firewire support and all software working as advertised :)
What are the chances of that happening? |
Does it look like we might finally get Filter FM or Chord Memory?
Audio-rate LFO's? Who knows. |

Would be glad to be proven wrong of course ! |
I too hope it´s a TI3 with USB3 and 32 USB-Outs. And at least 2x the power! Better 3x!
And a TI-Software Synth would be awesome (like the Powercore Virus or even without). |
