Anyone have fixed Virus Ti2 desktop?
 

Hi everyone here.
I got a Ti2 desktop last year.and I think it is a bad unit.it have DSP hardware problem.It will make some digital crash noise when I working with it,and 1,3,5,7,9...channel will no sound anymore.

access have send me a new mainboard for my Ti.
I don't know how to setup this mainboard.


anybody have open the Ti desktop's box?setup a new mainboard is easy??thanks~~

where are you located and who has send you a new main board? there are no user serviceable parts inside the virus. in order to help you, i need this information. if you don't want to reply through this board, please contact us here: http://www.virus.info/support/

hah.Let me tell you this long story:)
I buy a Ti2 from access china dealer"Different Sound Digital Tech Co.,Ltd"last year.
and it have some DSP probleme.I sended email for access suport and the dealer have contact access too.finally access send a new mainboard for Dealer.but that time I upgrade OS 4.05.everything looks ok,so I leave the board in them care.because I'm busy and I have no time to use Ti.from this month I will make some music with Ti2.but problem is back,dsp crash noise,1,3,5,7,9 ...channal dead.so I will take the mainboard form dealer.
so I wanna know is that easy to setup?I hope I can setup the new mainboard myself after they give me.

please contact access support. you cannot build in the main board on your own. a certified service center needs to do that. i assume that your virus ti2 is under warranty?

Here Dealer "Different Sound Digital Tech Co.,Ltd"'s engineer has fixed my Ti:)I'm very happy with that:)

I know this is a very old thread

But maybe you can tell us, how the dealer has fixed the issue on your TI2/mainboard?
