How to stop audio volume being controlled by midi keyboard

Hi,

I have a Virus Snow and am using a Dave Smith Mopho keyboard as midi keyboard. The problem I am experiencing is that if I change the audio volume on the keyboard, it sends over midi data and also changes the volume on the Snow. I would like to find a way to stop this happening so that if I turn down the volume on the Mopho, the audio volume of the Snow is unaffected. I guess the best way to do this would be to make the Snow ignore incoming midi on the Audio volume command if this is possible. Any help much appreciated. Many Thanks!

Using different MIDI channels doesn't help?

No, and neither does unplugging the midi cable because I did'nt ask how to prevent all midi communication, my problem is how to only prevent the audio volume being affected.
