how to map virus parameters to other cc# ?
 

hello everyone,

thank you for keeping this forum alive, I ve seen here some useful information about a problem I experience on my virus rack xl (jumpy knobs). Here I d like to introduce another topic. I ve read the manual a couple of times and tried to find info on the web about it without success.:confused:

I would to like to assign parameters of the virus to other cc numbers than the ones they are mapped to by default. it would help me programming cc automation if i have the same parameters on the same cc for all my synth, which isnt the case at the moment.

I dont know if it is possible (without using the mod matrix) and how. if anyone knows, please post here the procedure.

I m using virus rack xl os 6.5, but I guess the menus will be similar on other viruses.

ok! thanks for your reply hurolura. anybody to confirm or infirm hurolura 's assessment ?

I think this mapping is written somewhere in the code of the virus' OS so there must be at least some super tricky way to overwrite it with one's own mapping, yet perhaps not possible for the normal user though.
