Do you use the USB channels or audio in or old style MIDI?

"Old style MIDI" can't be used to record sound :P

I use either way depending on the system I'm using and what outboard I intend to use :)

No you can not record MIDI but I think you know what I mean? what I mean is recording with MIDI and then using the audio outs from Vieus TI to your soundcard then record it in your DAW or some other outside device(DAT)?

sometimes i bounce it direct from midi. now i am starting to make a bus, and record from that bus in real time just soloing the TI track i want to hear. then i can start chopping audio and manipulating it all up on the fly.

Yes, that was what the rest of my answer meant ;)
I sometimes play it directly without the DAW/ext sequencer, tho
