Noisy SPDIF output only when it's off
 

So I was wondering if others of you had experienced this occurred. I just got my TI 2 back from being serviced and all the prior issues I was having are gone; ..... BUT now when I power down the unit I will slowly start to hear a static (like radio static) coming in out of the output. I thought perhaps I had used the wrong cable, but went to my local radio shack and got the proper cable **for sure.... Still that static, It goes away the minute I turn on the unit. GRRRRRRR I just really don't want to have to send it back again, so I was curious if any of you had endured this issue, and if so if do you have any ideas about a solution?
