if just using audio outs, do i need delay compensation on in ableton?
 

so i am running newest ableton and virus TI with up to date OS,
i am using virus control, not the midi jacks, but all i want to do
is use the audio outs, no USB outs...it seems to only be in time if i have delay compensation off, yet everything i read says delay compensation needs to be on....any advice?
