Virus Control load time in Ableton
 

This morning, I loaded the Virus Control VST into Ableton Live 8.2.2. 1 hour later, it's 60% complete in Syncing. Watching the Virus display, it seems like it's syncing about a patch a second. Is that normal? It does this every time I load it.

Any ideas?

not normal,
Usually after an update the patch sync takes a minute or two.
Without an update it loads around 20 seconds, there is no need for it to sync patches.

I have the same problem

Just decide to look at AL8 and have the same issue when try to load the VST

takes about a sec per patch

has anyone else cracked this??
