I have a question about a virus ti2 Polar
 

Sorry for making a new thread but i couldnt find what i was looking for, i have a small question, hopefully it will be a simple one for you guys! - im about to buy a virus ti2 polar in the next few weeks

Q. can i use the keyboard on the polar as a midi keyboard to control my other soft synths on logic. and if so, will it just recognise it as a midi keyboard on other channels eg massive, albino ES2 synths.

Yes!
 

Easy answer is Yes.

The virus will act as a midi controller for any softsynth you focus on in Logic.

(It actually works a lot better than some dedicated midi controllers I could mention)

You wont hit any issues with the virus playing over the top of your softsyth due to he mode it switches to automatically as soon as you instigate the Virus software in your DAW.
