Win7 Cubase64bit Virus TI2 Crackle

Hi, till now I worked with the 4.5.1.15 on WinXp 32bit and the virus worked fine.
Now I switched to Win7 64bit in cubase 6 64 and I hear crackles on every patch I use.

Any suggestion about?

I add a very serious trouble I discovered now... When I open Virus TI plugin, the arrow of my mouse stops and doesn't move anymore. I have to reset my pc.

Please Help!

Did you get a new PC, or just upgrade the OS?
If the former, it sounds like something I experienced recently.
New machine - different motherboard - different USB configuration. Virus is very sensitive about sharing the USB bus with other devices, and I have quite a few - mouse + kbd, MIDI controller keyboard, MIDI interface, external HD, Maschine.

In my case, the problem was solved by plugging the Virus into a dedicated USB PCI card. See if you can get one to try out, but if not, consider just buying one. They only cost a few bucks, so even if it doesn't help, you don't lose much.

hope this helps... let us know!

One more thing..it's better a PCI or a PCI-e? Or it's not important?

tomorrow I'll go and buy a pci..but I found over the net a special usb cable, mini usb to double usb, used for peripherals that need extra power..may it be the solution?
Anyone tryed that?
