Syncing TI Arpeggiator to DAW "unsolved"
Hi,
Hoping someone can tell where I've gone wrong. I'm new to the T1 and am using it with Cubase 6. I've been trying to control the T1 arpeggiator's tempo by the external MIDI clock from the DAW without any luck. I did set the MIDI to "sync with external" in the global section. I am using the T1 in Multi mode and not using it through the Virus control centre. |
Try to on parameter MIDI Time Code

Hmm... Its strange.. But I have same problem on my Virus C. I use PreSonus Studio One. And when I start record arpeggio - sync ok. But when I select loop and repeat already record midi-notes, sync trouble. Virus indicate little "c" on display, but plays assync... Help us somebody!

Cubase Loop and midi sync virus always a bit dodgy. That was the case with my old virus b going back a while.

Check what are you recording on Cubase, using Piano Roll
Does this happens after you record the arpeggio? If this is the case, you should take a look at the Piano Roll and check what got recorded: the actual notes you pressed or the arpeggio the Virus generated.
If the notes recorded correspond to the actual arpeggio, then you should turn the Arpeggiator off on the Virus, because if you don't do that, Virus will use the notes of the arpeggio to launch another arpeggio and this will be a mess. |
Oh! ArgeggSend = On but record notes from my Novation ReMoteSL undivided like arpeggio. For example - I play or record one note "A2" - and it looks as the extended undivided rectangle on all 4 steps.
Like this ![]() And when loop plays 2-nd and more times (already record note or simple play (not recorded) with drumkick at sequencer) - arpeggio assync. |
I had change PreSonus to Ableton Live and have no problems!!!
