Interesting. Guess it will appeal to those who liked Ace. Love U-he's stuff, but I don't actually reach for a pure FM sound very often so I will likely pass on this one. I know Urs mentions the choice in the vid, but the first thing that came to mind is "an FM synth that calls the operators oscillators?". Just struck me as odd. Guess he's just trying to do something different.

Personally I think they should consider doing a hardware synth.

Yeah, it's sort like analogue FM. It's got a different sound! This one and Aalto, from Madrona Labs, are the only two I know that can make some Buchla like sounds I know off. While Ace is more like a "arp 2600" kind of synth, with a semi modular arquitecture, but standard oscillators with the most common options - although it's great to. So, what I mean is this kind of FM isn't covered with something like FM8, for example, it's a lot different!
