SOLVED: backing up and restoring between different ti2 hardware models.
 

i'm wondering....

from VirusControl can i do a restore of a Polar vtibackup file to a Desktop model so that they both contain the exact same settings and patches?

reason i ask is because Viruscontrol prompts me to choose which hardware model i'm using when i 1st open VirusControl and i don't know if my Polar backups are compatible to do a Restore on a desktop.

anyone done this?

Access told me that the specific incarnation of ti2 matters not when backing up/restoring.
