I took a stroll around the cemetery this afternoon
 

I took a stroll round Key West Cemetery this Sunday afternoon & took a few pics. As graveyards go the one here in Key West is very nice. It's also home to a lot of Iguanas because there is always fresh flowers to eat!. I think I would like to be buried here...great weather ; )

judging by the pictures you're lucky to live in such a beautiful place with very warm weather. not so bad here to, tbo! You mentioned air conditioning and I've been thinking about that a lot. Had it in Spain and kind of miss it right here. With the warm summer sun, it's kind of hard to be inside the studio with temperatures rising so much... Anyways, keep up the good vibes! :cool:

Nice pics! I love old cemeteries with all the cool headstones that many are works of art in themselves. One of the best ones I have visited is when I visit an old friend up in Cleveland there's one in Mayfield Heights that's on a large, good sized hilly area with some Presidential Mausoleums you can go into and go several flights of stairs and look down and all the wonderful Tiffany stained glass and marble everywhere and then it has a large open area you can go up on and the view is wonderful, even have had a picnic for two up there once. Kind of brings back memories of that great movie, "Harold and Maude"...if you have never seen it, it's a must.
How long have you lived there and what ultimately brought you there?

Thanks man...well I am British, we didn't build an empire by staying at home a whole lot :)

A couple of years ago we walked around Montmartre cemetery in Paris, it certainly qualifies as a work of art.
