Assigning parts to selected outputs.in Virus C
 

I am attempting to assign six (1 -6)individual parts in a multi program to out 1 left, out 1 right, out 2 L, out 2 R, out 3 L, out 3 R.. Whilst in multi mode I go to system edit to the outsel (output select parameters ). to perform this. (page 110 in the manual)
Although parts 3, 4 , 5 , and 6 can be routed individually and solely thru a corresponding mono mixer channel I cant get 1 and 2 to separate out to their assigned channels independent of one another. Its like they are still stereo , with a little of channel 2 on channel 1 and viceversa . I haven't chosen output 1 L+R. but 1L and 1R.
What to do ?
Any help would be mucho appreciated ta,
