Volume Problem
 

Hey, Virus folks-

I have a Yamaha FC7 and use it with many keyboards. I plugged it into the Virus TI2 Polar Ctrl input, set it to #7 Volume and it has no effect. I am using OS 5.0.8. If I change the Ctrl settings to Pan #10, or other things such as OSC1 Pitch, it works perfectly.

I cannot seem to get it to control the volume.

Any ideas?

On the Virus you can assign channel volume to one of the "ctrl" available, then make your Yamaha control that one.

Thanks, but I am not sure I understand. I want to control the global volume of the instrument. In the manual it says that this should work be assigning the Ctrl pedal jack to #7 Volume.

Is there another step that is necessary, or is this a bug and your solution is the workaround?

Total user error, Midi Volume somehow was disabled globally and I did not check that until last night.
