Genome MIDI sequencer and TI Snow?

Hi folks,

I'm currently experimenting with using Genome MIDI Sequencer on my iPad, to trigger 4 different patches on my Snow, but having a few problems with "patch cross-talk". Here's what I've done:

- Programmed 4 different patterns in GMS, outputting on channels 1-4.
- Created a Multi on the Snow, with 4 patches, matched up to the different MIDI channels. Eg. Bass, pad, lead, kick-drum.

However, when I tested out each (isolated) pattern of my sequence, I was getting multiple triggering of patches on the Snow, despite setting each patch to respond to a different channel.

I then edited each patch in the Multi and set discrete High/Low note ranges, so there was no doubling up, and this did help, but I still have cross-talk on two patches. To be specific, I've now got my kick-drum responding on only a single note and my bass on a higher range, but I still get kick+bass, when I play the kick-drum note in GMS.

Any idea what could be wrong? Is this generally how Multi mode is meant to be used? Is there a parameter I've missed? I don't really see how I can use Sequencer mode without the Virus Control, so Multi mode is probably the only option.

Cheers,

EG
