I've found a song i've made a long time ago with my virus C and I can't remember with which preset it was. I have tried hundreds of presets and still not found it. Does anyone knows this sound ?

Hi there, took a listen.

Sounds resonant with a third tone, and a fair amount of ambient reverb sustain/release and distortion.

You can get close with patch "Moon PadJS" (it's on bank/preset number C-53, although not sure if yours will be the same) if you hold down the notes G#5 and B5 together.

Actually, on testing, a large number of other patches sound equally similar if you use those two same notes. Not sure if the original uses the filter resonance to create the third tone instead, though.

Was it definitely a factory preset?

Man I have tried maybe 3000 presets, all the presets on the access website sereval times (sic)....:roll:
I have tried the moon pad too, there are lots of sounds close to this one, the spacechor2 for exemple.
But nothing with this mechanical sound I love so much, and create it again wow...
It's like a giant puzzle !
I think I'll need to sample myself :p
