Sync Ti2 Desktop to Drum Machine & Controller
 

Hi,

I am trying to sync my Virus Ti2 desktop to a Roland TR-8.... so the TR-8 acts as the master clock and the Virus as the slave.

This is easy with a synth keyboard, as the midi out of the TR-8 goes to the midi in of the keyboard. But of course the Virus desktop needs the midi in from it's controller keyboard. If the controller had a midi thru, this could work, but no controllers have them.

What do you think is my best option? A midi Merger? or is there something obvious that i'm missing? this must be a common set up.
