Main board virus c
 

Hi everyone,

Is there perhaps anyone who can tell me for sure if the main boards of the KC and Rack XL are interchangeable ? I'm not sure since they have different OS.

Anyway, I'm looking for a mainboard for my dead KC. Thanks !

same here! a faulty voltage regulator (bottom left on the MB4 mainboard) fried one of the resistors...have ordered a new voltage regulator but with no servicemanuals and those tiny components with microscopic sized markings it's a bit of a gamble without a service manual....as far as interchangeability goes the mainboard looks a lot like it was taken out of a rackunit (if only for it's size) but it's a bit tricky to ghack into a (working) Virus C just for the mainboard...
