How easy is it to switch patterns, TI desktop
 

I just purchased a TI desktop off ebay. This is my virus Access synth. I am also buying an Engine Sequencer to go with it since I dont like using computers. How easy is it to send change control messages to the virus and does it have any audio artifacting when changing patches?

Its very easy (send a program change event on the proper channel) and does not produce artifacts (as long as you don't expect unreasonable fast switching and endless fx spillover).
