Will you pay 50€ to Kemper for a new (requested) featured OS?
Hi Guys.
I supose everyone here, hopes that Access/Kemper Gmbh will someday to continue updating Virus TI. So, for the moment nothing and so much of us are waiting long years. We have a long requested features list, and, as we can see it's completely a sad and dead way... So, I ask, how many of us can/will afford 50€/$ to make a solid proposal to AccessMusic/Kemper to take care about it and to give the rest of users a very good waited needed update? I think if we are +100/200 that's completely affordable. good sounds to all A. |
Well leave me out, I flat out refuse to give access any more of my money. I totally understand your frustration but the fact that the TI has not been updated since 2017 clearly shows that they don't give a fuck (and barely did back in the day) and I don't think they are even capable of doing it. The software has always been it's Achilles heel and there IT dept. is almost non existent.
I suggest something like a class action lawsuit, that might get there attention more. It totally blows my mind that they are still getting away with selling this thing...unbelievable! |
I'd rather they fixed the bugs first
|
I'd be willing to pay for an update.
If it fixes bugs and adds obviously missing features. |
Is the TI so buggy?
I think it might be an idea to try this. The question is: Who has the knowledge about the software and can solve it? Is that person still in the company? Or maybe left because of COVID? I know several such cases (non music industriy mostly). |
The only "major" unfixed bug I'm aware of is this one: https://www.virus.info/forum/index.p...s-midi-timing/
One "minor" unfixed bug is that the ARP data of the even midi channels apparently isn't transmitted. Another is that the demo song and/or the audition feature may cause one DSP to hang. |
There’s many more bugs. A good deal of modulation targets are missing for no reason. Some modulation does not work as expected. And there are a couple of conditions that make the DSPs crash.

Still no news?
