But anyway, you can do sysex dumps of the banks, should work.
Or if you got Sound Diver installed you can export patches as .mid files, have tried this myself.

Tested the patch on a Snow, it seems fine as long as it's not an even number of unison voices, e.g. Twin, 4, 6 sounds muted/dull but 3, 5, etc. is fine.
At least on my setup :)

FYI,

Just saw that the dev. of Renoise and Access, have identified the the problems.
Seems to need updates both in Renoise and on the Virus side.
Renoise will work much better in the next update...

Renoise is not freeware even though it's very affordable ($50) and it's isn't...
