Yeah its a tricky one given that the triangle naturally sits in the middle but If it as an added option using the shift+Wave select/PW knob i doubt it would mess with anyones workflow who didn't need...

I second this, your ti2 could be malfunctioning. Or it could be a software issue because hardware can be as great as you can make it, if the software/firmware is shit it will perform like a slow turd.
