Strange problem. I'm using the Virus TI (Snow) with Cubase 4 and Vista (via USB) and I have no such problems. Both with 2.7.x and the latest 3.0.1.6 the TI is quite stable and problemfree using this...

Is the clicking caused by the TI not being able to keep up or is it possibly a latency issue (too small asio buffer)? I figured the TI running out of steam would manifest itself as voices dropping,...

No need to be afraid. You can safely experiment with the new OS beta versions (if you're not under deadline pressure, that is) since you can always revert back to older versions like 2.7.x whenever...

This release works a lot better for me (Virus TI Snow, Cubase 4 Studio) than the previous 3.0 beta versions. This version is actually very usable, whereas previous versions would crash my snow within...

I was actually surprised how many plasmatrons had similar characteristics (although executed differently). I spotted several pitch-envelopes, high frequency LFOs and grungy waveshapers/distortions. ;)

Indeed. Awesome patch. Got my vote.. like someone said earlier, the tweaking at the end of the sample sealed the deal ;)

Have you tried clicking on the patch-link with your right mouse-button?...

I went from 2.7.3 (rock solid) to 2.7.5 (some timing issues) to 3.0b (not usable on the Snow).

Then I went back to 2.7.3. That version works best for me so far - but I'm eagerly awaiting the final...

Yes, you can. I´m using my Snow as if it were a nice high-end sound card. All my computer's sounds are automatically routed to the Snow when it's switched on.

That's a bit more tricky....

Nope, I had the same problems in 3.0. That's why I went back to 2.7.3 - which has been the most stable OS version for me so far.

You can safely try out 3.0 however, since downgrading is just as...
