Virus Indigo multi-midi crash

so a friend of mines virus indigo (1 not 2) is having issues. every time i put it in multi mode for multiple midi channels, after awhile it will reset to mono midi mode (only 1 channel at a time)....

as it turned out, this is a "sticky" toggle only available in software.

once i undid that, the inputs work again.
