selecting Multis from a sequencer

You can select patches in Single mode (and in Multi mode) by sending Program Changes but.....

Is it possible to send a single Midi Commands (possibly Sysex) to a Virus to select specific Multis?

I'm not deliberately changing the FX settings myself though.
They're changing by themselves when I'm in Multi Edit and I'm scrolling through patches.

As just a librarian it's simple and works well enough.
Not as flexible as SD, but OK for freeware.

Very boring and time consuming.

If you have SoundDiver I think you can 'retrieve' banks C-H and...

Well the ID is set to 1 on my Virus and Sounddiver displays 1 as well.

The Midi Monitor in Sounddiver displays data when I turn the knobs.

Having now given it a 'roadtest' it seems to work pretty well for me.
The only thing I can't get it to do is load banks and Patches directly from my Virus B.
Not sure why.
As I have all these already...

Besides, I'm not really bothered with PC editing of patches....that's what the knobs are for :wink:
